Data Decompression
All of the HDinHD datasets are made available as either compressed files or tar archives (GNU tar, GNU gzip). On most Macintosh and Linux computers, tools are available to decompress these files. On Windows computers, you may need to download and install a decompression application. We recommend either WinZip or 7-Zip.

Each of the datasets below is a core component of HD Explorer, a single integrated framework where researchers can find and explore a wide range of diverse yet interconnected HD scientific data. Each component data section of HD Explorer is available as a bulk download file that provides full meta-data associated with each dataset.
